I met Marion and Terry more than 40 years ago through her dear friend Auriel Halliday. Whenever there was a gathering of Brits or Jazz fans, Marion was there, always full of fun and life, with her entertaining, witty humour in full force. We had great dinner party evenings playing Trivial Pursuit (the original one!) and Pictionary. She and I loved to sing along together on any occasion, as we had the same range of voice.
After Terry's passing, Marion traveled to New Orleans with the Hot Five Jazzmakers where she met David and they immediately hit it off and married soon after.
Marion will be dearly missed by her many friends. Deepest sympathy to all her family.
