Licensed Funeral Director Class 1 and Embalmer - Full Time

George Darte Funeral Chapel is located in St. Catharines, the largest city in Canada's Niagara Region and the sixth largest urban area in the province of Ontario; conveniently situated between Toronto and the US border.  George Darte Funeral Chapel’s  40,000 square foot facility  is home to a progressive funeral business that has been privileged to serve the community for over 110 years. 

The Funeral Directing Staff of George Darte Funeral Chapel Inc.  work to create and maintain an exceptional level of client family satisfaction through the delivery of superior customer service. Our funeral directing staff oversee all aspects of funeral and memorial arrangements, including embalming, planning, scheduling and coordinating of services. They also provide information and advice to those individuals seeking to pre-arrange their funeral services, offering creative consultation and expert knowledge of services and merchandise offered in order to provide personalized funeral and memorial services.

FUNERAL DIRECTORS ASSISTANT REQUIRED - Full Time

George Darte Funeral Chapel is located in St. Catharines, the largest city in Canada's Niagara Region and the sixth largest urban area in the province of Ontario; conveniently situated between Toronto and the US border.  George Darte Funeral Chapel’s  40,000 square foot facility  is home to a progressive funeral business that has been privileged to serve the community for over 110 years. 

Funeral Director Assistants and interns work behind the scenes making sure that every detail receives the attention required to make exceptional experiences for the families we are privileged to serve.    Funeral Director Assistants assist our Funeral Directors in transporting the deceased, setting up our facilities and other venues so that every planned detail of our funeral events are achieved for our families, as well as  maintaining  our facility in peak condition.  Funeral Director Assistants also work alongside our other support staff, to ensure that every family member needs are met with compassion and respect. 

If you have a valid Ontario Driver’s License, a good driving record and are able to lift 45 lbs., we welcome speaking to you about opportunities with our firm.
