I'm so sorry to read this in yesterdays paper. My parents (Jack and Nina Beattie) were best friends with Ken and Mary and when we were kids, he was Uncle Ken to me. We always had sleepovers with all of the kids and us. When my mom passed away, we couldn't find Ken's address or phone number to let them know and we know he was at her apartment for a visit. The last time I saw Ken was at Mary's 80th birthday celebration. I was able to bring my mom. They had no idea who I was but when they saw my mom, they lit up. I will always have loving thoughts of them. Please accept my condolences.
