Siobhan, I was saddened to read that your Mom has passed away but happy to know that she is once again by dear Rene's side. You Mom was such a gently sweet soul who touched everyone's heart. I have always thought of her as an Earth Angel. I have so many great Irish Dancing memories and will hold them close. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family tomorrow. To think time keeps ticking onward & life passes everyone so quickly. I remember on many Fridays & Saturday nights having sleep overs at Peggy's house so that Siobhan and I could go out & play!!! LOL hey Siobhan remember those nights? Lets see Club 404, The Late Show, theres a couple more places but my memory has gotten the best of me. Peggy was always so polite and generous with saying hello ever so quietly and boy did she make great crepes!! Yum Yum!! Brown Sugar & Butter. Boy has time gone by! I can still see your smiling face, On your visits to Waterford, your original home place,
And oh the sadness we felt on your last day, When goodbye was the word we had to say.
We had great times your family and mine, Anniversaries, Weddings and Easter Time, Of course there were sad times too, And there you were to help us through. So as you make your final journey, you leave us with great great memories, We will still sit and chat and think of you, A beautiful Aunt, that is so true.

Peggy, like Rene, was one of the kindest, gentlest and most generous people I've ever known. It's a character trait that is a common theme in the Deprez family. I consider myself lucky that my parents were among Peggy and Rene's closest friends. When I thought of how I'll remember Peggy, the answer was easy. In the obituary is a line that says she was 'surrounded by family' when she passed. Peggy was surrounded by a loving family throughout her life. I'll never forget any number of Christmas visits to the house. Peggy would be an island of quiet calm in the middle of the chaos. And those of us fortunate enough to remember a Deprez wedding will remember Peggy at her happiest. There is sadness, but there is also peace following Peggy's struggle. Hers is a life to be truly celebrated because there's no better example of the goodness to be found in the human spirit!
