Obituary of Michelle Lise Andrus
With heavy hearts, the Andrus family announces the unexpected passing of Michelle Lise Andrus (nee. Newberry). With her cherished husband, Dwayne by her side, the sudden loss of Michelle has left her family and friends in mourning and heartbroken. Michelle will be forever loved and remembered by her loving husband, her man, Dwayne Andrus. She brought much love into their home committing support, friendship and guidance to Dwayne’s children: Mitchell (Alison), Sara (Ivan), Darren (Sherry) and Shannon (Craig). Family was of the utmost importance to Michelle and she took pride in making their house a caring and healthy home. Michelle is survived by her in-laws, Rosemary and Michael Andrus, whom she loved, respected and deeply cared for. Michelle’s cheerful nature and kindness will be so very missed by family members: Audrey Schrader and Ed Andrus, Richard Andrus and Christine Andrus. Many nieces and nephews were brought together by Michelle’s family gatherings and grand parties. Also touched by Michelle’s presence are: Katie (Jeff, Connor, Wendy), Mackenzie, Brooke (Kyle), Mickey, Calvin and Alex. Predeceased are Michelle’s loving parents, John and Jeanne Newberry who had taught her the meaning of family, commitment, kindness, love, generosity and hard work. Michelle was big sister to her brother, Teddy and loving aunt to Jack. In accordance with her wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family wish to invite friends and family for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, April 2nd from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM with a Celebration of Life on Monday, April 3rd in the funeral home ceremony room at 11:00AM followed by a reception in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall located on the lower level of funeral home with cremation to take place If desired, please consider making a donation in honour of Michelle to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, MS Society of Canada or Hospice Niagara.
