My sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. Skorski.
In 1980 when Mr. Skorski was President of the Polish Club I was President of the Youth Club and Miss Polonia. He was a great mentor to me. Under his leadership the youth club and "senior club" developed a good working relationship.
I remember many of the events you mention including when Joe Clark visited and the official opening of the Polish Hall after the major addition.
Attached are photos I found, not the best quality but I hope sufficient enough to recognize Mr. Skorski and the "dignitaries".
