We got to know Jerry through his sister Teresa, a dear friend of ours, a few years back. He’d call to chat with her and always chatted with us too. He had many stories of his life in Ukraine, Germany, and Canada but his heart was always with his roots in Ukraine. He was very proud of his heritage. He’d share recipes and always had a friendly joke. Our favorite was when he sang to us. Although we never met Jerry in person we felt like we did and knew him our whole life. What a wonderful man, always so positive and caring about everyone. He is in heaven with all of his loved ones who’ve passed before him now. Rest In Peace Uncle Jerry!
