I have so many fond memories growing up as part of the May family. I was always able to get a smile from Mr May especially during Sunday night roast beef dinners. Always stern, but with so much love and adoration. I will never forget him. Always in my heart.

It's hard to put into words what Uncle Brian symbolized, but one things for sure, his family was the most important and he was always present!
As a child, you don't always realize the importances of those you love, and the lessons they try and teach you, it's not until you're older that you realize and appreciate those lessons. I don't remember Uncle Brian as a big talker, but if he had something to share, he shared it! Whether you liked what he had to say or not!
Things I remember: he lead by example, had a sharp sense of humour, an excellent guitar player, a keen outdoors man, loyal to those he loved and his home was a place you were always welcomed.
I appreciate the kindness, compassion and understanding he showed my father (Gary) as my father struggled with Alzheimer.
I feel fortunate to have spent my childhood so close to Uncle Brian, Aunt Lil and my cousins, it truly enriched my life and I'm grateful. Sometimes there's a person in your life that you think will live forever, Uncle Brian was that person for me. He will be missed.

Although I haven't seen your family in too long a time, I have always thought of all of you as friends. Your husband and father and I had some wonderful times together in the old days---I will never forget those great times together.
Everything he did in life was first and foremost for his family. That was always so evident.
You all take care.
