It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to my sister Irene, my only sibling. Her death leaves me with a profound feeling of 'aloneness'. For over 80 years we shared memories, some sad but mostly happy memories of our years growing up together. Although we lived in different provinces for the last 50 years, we came together yearly, rekindled those memories and enjoyed each other's company. Unfortunately, the last three years were sad ones as my sister did not remember me anymore. And now, although she has left his world, she will live forever in my heart. God Bless You and Rest in Peace my dear sister.
