His generosity to the less fortunate was mostly hidden from view.An amazing athlete, player and coach in both hockey and baseball, Ed took pride in sharing his knowledge and experiences of the game with all. He was an avid sportsman and at 83 years young he was jet skiing, fishing, golfing and swimming in Bobcaygeon with his family. Big Ed’s involvement with his grandchildren went above and beyond. He treasured every moment spent with them being an active part in all aspects of their lives. Ed was an extremely fun-loving man with a wonderful sense of humour. Everyone felt at home around Ed.The family would like to thank the palliative care team for all their kindness and support. A special thank you to his granddaughter Beth, for granting her grandpa’s wish to die peacefully at home.
