Gramps I will miss sharing a few beers and talking to you . I enjoyed our conversations and always looked forward to it . I will miss having you in the boat with us . You had a great golf game too . You always were kind and caring about what was going on with me . You were a true gentleman , and family person . Family meant everything to you . R.I.P.

Deepest sympathy to the Cadot Family. My Dad, Jim (Robbie) Robertson and Eddie shared a friendship that spanned many decades going back to their youth when they played sports together, working together on the line gang for the Seaway and enjoying many golf games together after they retired. There were no shortage of laughs along the way. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

My deepest sympathies to the Cadot family, especially Linda - who was my childhood best friend. We spent many hours together as young people and Mr. Cadot was a large presence in that home. He would tease us and always say to me "heather, feather, how's the weather" I have never forgotten that. I loved spending time there - it was house full of noise and laughter. He will be missed for sure by those who knew him well.

My sincere condolences to Linda and Beth for the loss of your father and grandfather and may you find comfort and peace knowing Ed is no longer suffering from his illness. Beth would accompany Ed at the St.Catharines Falcon`s hockey games and introduced him to me. Some games Ed attended alone and I would visit him at the 1st intermission period and talk about his playing and coaching days and one fond memory I have is that Ed played on the same team with Don Cherry and Al Arbour for the OHA Windsor Spitfires at age 19.

My grandfather meant everything to me and was one of the most influential, important people in my life! Like a father, he inspired me, encouraged me and most of all was always supportive! I remember when I first showed an interest in golf, he came home with a used set of (MacGregor) golf clubs for me which I used for the first couple of years learning to play. This was the start of a sport I learned to love and play with others and most of all with him! I owe everything that golf gave and taught me to him. As well along with all the early morning hockey games he showed up to watch - always standing alone and then critiquing me how I played as we sat at Wendy's for my post game meal - ha! I know the last 6-8 months was so hard for him fighting through the pain as he knew his life was coming to an end, however my son (Kaeden) and I managed to fly home a few times and spend some of the most quality times I have ever had with him - swimming, fishing and obviously having a Coors light with him in Bobcaygeon at the cottage - to see the joy on his face with us present is something I will never ever forget! Grampa as I said to you a few hours before you passed away "you are the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for" and I will cherish forever the times we had together. My heart aches with sadness, however I know you and grandma are back together again - forever! I will always love you with all my heart gramp - RIP! Love always, Jeff
