Mel was a fighter even as a small girl. It was nice of her to show up sometime at coffee. You can see it was a effort for her, but she showed up anyways and didn't complain. She just wanted to be near family she will be missed by her children my heart goes out to them .may God comfort them.

How incredibly blessed we all are to know and love you. Through everything you were going through you never hesitated to share a laugh, offer words of encouragement or express your love for anyone who you felt needed to hear it. You were a true warrior, fighting not just cancer, but fighting for everyone you loved. I am so fortunate to have so many memories with you, and you will forever live on through them.
I love you beyond measure, Mel - my friend, my sister-cousin, my hero.

Melly was a fighter, not once did she give up. We talked daily and She was my go to when I wasn't feeling good despite what she was going through she was always there to lend a ear. She ways had a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She said she would make cancer her b**** and she did. Mel loved life and her family with all her heart. I'll always remember our bbqs and visits. Love you Melly. ♡

Mel was a true friend, and she had so much love for her family and her friends. We have known each other since high-school. We hadn't seen each other in a while, but we kept in contact over the years, and I can honestly say she was my longest lasting friend! She was such and encouraging person, and I was so happy for her that she found the love of her life! Mike, Blair, Jared and Mackenzie were her whole universe! She spoke so highly of you all, all the time! She was so full of love for you all and I am truely sorry for your loss!

I was 7 years old when Mel was born and I felt like I got a baby sister not a niece, because her mom was much older then me and Rose was like a 3rd mom to me. Mel and I looked more alike then her and her mom and I remember for a few years at each family BBQ's we both had same hair colour, neither one of us new till we saw each other and we'd laugh. One time I even argued with my mother over a picture and turns out it was Mel and not me lmao. Mel and I would always laugh about the fact neither one of us looked like our sisters but each other. She was one of the strongest and most positive person I knew and always making people laugh around her. She was one of the greatest mothers, niece and friend, I will always miss you and you'll remain in my heart forever. love Patsy
To Mike, Blare, Jared and Mack this will be hard on all of you. But remember your wife/mom is smiling down on all of you and stay true to your selves and be like your wife/mom and face life with strength, joy, love and laughter in the future. love patsy and family

I remember when I would babysit Mel for my sister Rose ,Mel was at my house for a few days and we played water tag . Mel was going to spray me with the hose and i told her not in the house she waited till i went out side with her and my kids . and she sprayed me then ran into my house . laughing saying not in the house , I grabbed the hose opened the door and sprayed her back she did not know what to do. Mel just kept telling me u said not in the house. I told her that she could not get water in the house I did not say anything about me getting water in the house. we laughed ever time Mel and I got together. Mel was always fun to be around you never knew what she would say or do. she will be missed deeply R.I.P. Mel your with your mother , Grandmother ,
