Maria and Joe, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I remember going to his house and him showing me his garden. He was so proud of it. He would explain what each plant was and if it was doing well or poorly. He would give me tips on how to have a successful garden while your mother and my mother spoke. I also enjoyed having discussions with him when we visited. I found him to be very interesting. May he Rest In Peace and God comfort your families. God bless.

Dear Family and Friends of Domenico Palombo my deepest condolences.
I remember meeting Nonno for the first time at Christmas in 2016 when I came to Canada. Domenico made me feel part of the family right away and told me stories about Italy, coming to Canada and building his life from scratch. How he worked so hard to provide for his family and making his own wine and growing his own vegetables. I was amazed by all his lovely stories and it was so nice to get a feel of the family I am now a part of. I'm glad I got to meet him and even more grateful he got to meet his great grandson Wendel this year.
Dead Nonno rest in peace.
Much love Rochelle Balmer

Rochelle, dad loved seeing you with Robert. He was happy that Robert had found his special someone to share his life with. You were warm and caring to him and he felt it and enjoyed the time you took to listen and ask questions. I know Joe would share photos and videos of Wendel when he visited and dad loved them. He'll now see from up above and watch over all of us. He's playing cards or bocce balls, tending gardens and sharing espresso coffees or glasses of wine with mom and others with him!

Dear Maria, Joe and families,
It saddened us to hear that your father had passed away. I remember taking my mother to visit him several times and he was always happy to see us. He was a good man and a wise man and he will surely be missed.
Our condolences to you all. May you find comfort remembering him in memories and knowing that he is with many of his friends but mostly with your mom.
Hugs,
Maria and Jerry Crapsi and family

Dear Maria, Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Dad cherished and talked often of the visits and treats you and your mom brought him. He was a good and hard-working man, always working for his family- like your dad. Sad to see him gone, but his suffering has ended. He's now reunited with mom and his friends, tending the gardens and still watching over us. Thank you again for your beautiful words. Take care and keep safe.
Hugs,
Maria and Joe

Dear Maria and Joe. We had the honor of meeting your father at Christmas 2018. We had a wonderful dinner together and your father was so kind and had such a tale to tell. It was really so nice, we made good memories that day and we will cherish them and are thankful we had the chance to meet this kind and amazing father.
We wish you strength and good memories to guide you to the future.
And, as we say in Holland, dear dad of Maria and Joe, we wish you a peaceful journey and hope you will continue to watch over your family.
With love,
Frans en Margareth

Two of my most recent and fond memories of nonno:
1. The last time we got to see him in person, spending Christmas together as a family with mom (Maria), Joe, Steve, my wife (Rochelle) and her parents (Margareth and Frans) who flew over with us from The Netherlands. Mom made a beautiful cavatelli with the sauce recipe that nonna had taught her so well and nonno never left more than a drop on his plate. He was still sharp as a tack, making jokes and tearful speeches about how happy he was that we could all be together. He knew that this might have been one of the last times together.
2. The moment I got to introduce nonno to his pronipote, Wendel. Though stuck in the hospital bed, he was so happy to meet Wendel and couldn't hold back the smile from his face. Though they never got to meet in person, we will make sure that he remembers his bisnonno through our memories.
Nonno, I'm sad to know that you've left us here on earth, but deeply contented by the fact that you are at peace and most importantly reunited again with nonna.
Love you forever,
Rob
