I can’t believe it’s been 12 years today since i lost you…my sister & best friend. Not a day goes by that i don’t think about you. Remembering all our fun times together…travelling, out dancing in Toronto, on the water in Collingwood or just hanging out drinking chardonnay & watching Sex & the City. I miss the sound of your voice, your advice & your laughter.
I will love you forever Dawn Dawn. ❤️ Your sis Tracey

I recently ran into an old friend from St Catharines who told me about Dawn’s passing. I’m so sorry for you Wendy and for your family. Much time has now passed but I’m certain you still think of her and as time passes the memories become more fond than sad although the sadness occasionally returns. I’m certain in many ways Dawn was your sunshine so when you can, let the sun shine brightly through you into the world and when it does… there again is Dawn. Best always,
Gary Parsons

My condolences to the family! I'm just back in St. Catharines and seeing this. She was just as pretty as when I went to school with her. I lived in Toronto after graduating from Grantham High and ran into her in the 80's I think while I was a fitness instructor and so was she at Westwood Fitness on St. Clair Ave. West. Both of us chasing dreams, looking for modelling and acting parts. Dawn Chaffe

coconut shells
Everytime I see coconuts, I think of the time we were doing a shoot in Trinidad and Tobago. The gals got a little drunk on rum punch. The next morning the gardener gave us each a coconut cut in half....sooo...we put them over our boobies and jumped in the ocean ,lolling in and out of the waves, hoping the laughter and salt water would help our hangovers. It was truly a glorious moment. One I will never forget and always cherish. Rest in peace dear Dawn..xoxox

I was so sorry to hear of Dawn's passing. I met Dawn on the video shoot for the Air Canada Safety video and Dawn did my makeup over three days. She had such a wonderful, positive spirit -- and did great work! I didn't see her again until last summer, when she recognized me (after 6 years) in a lineup at Sephora in the Eaton Centre. I was so surprised that she recognized me. I didn't know, but suspected that she was ill. I know she made a positive impression and impact on many people in her lives because she did in mine after only working with her for a few days. My condolences to the family.

Dear Wendy and Nash Family
I just want you to know how sad I was to hear of your loss and how much you are in my thoughts during this very difficult time. I was struck by the photo of Dawn and how much she still looks like the beautiful young girl I remember from Grantham High. Even though I haven†™t seen her in years, I still remember her laugh, her beautiful smile, and how she lit up a room with her joyous sense of being. May you find some small measure of comfort in knowing her loss has reminded so many of us how important it is to live each day to its fullest.

I was so sorry to hear of Dawns passing. I met Dawn at Grantham High School and became instant friends. Her giggle and spark for adventure kept me sane during our high school years. We took a trip to the Canary Islands and Morocco and I still laugh when I think of us singing Midnight At The Oasis while riding camels in the desert. She had no idea of how beautiful she really was and that made me love her even more.Praying for family and friends for the loss of this special woman.

I had the very great pleasure of meeting and working with Dawn almost 20 years ago on a corporate video shoot. As a producer, I was so impressed by her professionalism, charm and beauty that it wasn't long before I considered her not only a colleague but a friend. She was a remarkable woman until the very end. She was a joy and, while she'll be sorely missed, she'll also be very fondly remembered.

My deepest condolences to the family on the passing of Dawn. Dawn and I went to high school together and I have so many wonderful memories of her, especially the times we had sitting in the basement of her family home just hanging out with the girls and her sister Wendy. She always laughed so easily and was always so much fun to be around. Dawn was one of the most attractive girls at Grantham, and, so it was not surprising that she was successful as a model and as a makeup artist. The most beautiful thing about Dawn was her incredible †œlightness of being†. She was a positive person and a joy to be with. I am truly saddened to think that she is no longer with us. She will live on in my heart as a very dear and special friend.

My dearest friend Dawn To all the years we worked together at Silver Screen Talent Group in Toronto, We shared so many things personal and spiritual things and our laughter was something I will never forget. I learned of your passing into the spirit world on this day, February 16 when I rose and for some mysterious reason I picked up the Toronto Star and there was your beautiful face. Today I am heart broken at your passing and if I can give some comfort to your loved ones and friends I want them to know just how much you loved and cared about others and always had this smile that was as bright as the sun and blinded all with your natural beauty. You made a huge difference in other peoples lives with your great make up and hair that you took so much patience and pride in what you did so that they would always look there best on set for the cameras. Tonight I will go out back and I will light a fire for you and I will sprinkle sacred tobacco into the fire with many prayers for your good journey to the other side, If you look back on your journey you will hear my voice and the sound of my drum that represents all you wonderful women the heart beat of our women and our Mother Earth and then I will raise my Grandmothers very old Eagle Feather to you in honor of a life well lived but gone to soon my dear friend. Dawn this life is a journey I don't believe there is a destination just a changing of places, Where ever you go Dawn I know one thing for sure, There will be great love there.
Your friend for ever

Although we eventually followed our own paths and lost touch with each other, I will never forget the beauty that Dawn possessed both inside and out. Dawn was one of those people that you knew was going to achieve great success in life. She was a gentle, kind and considerate soul. I will forever cherish the memories of the good times we had.
