I was saddened to hear about the death of your father. I was a friend/neighbour of Holly and Jay. I remember thinking your dad , well your parents really, being so cool; letting us teenagers hang out downstairs, listening to music.
He always seemed like such a strong man to me.
Sending you all a hug.
Love
Wendy Harinck

We have few but fond memories of your mum and dad, Lioyd’s panic as I drove Holly and Alex to their wedding in his cherished Chevy... can’t remember.. was it a Nova? A Cutlass? A Camero...or even a Chev?
We remember staying with Ann and Lloyd when we were looking for flowers for our own wedding, your folks warmth and hospitality is something we have never forgotten.
Holly, Kelly and I are heartbroken for you and send our love and condolences to you and the rest of your family... make sure that big hairy best mate of mine gives you a big hug and holds you tight on behalf of your Aussie friends... all our love... Thom, Kelly, Madison and Bailey.

So very sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. I was his next door neighbour on Overholt for many years. And as a single woman, I always appreciated Lloyd's willingness to lend a hand. He took on the task of moving my shed from one area of the yard to another. He had quite the engineering rigged up...that was amazing. I also enjoyed sharing a glass of his latest red wine with both Lloyd and Ann as they talked about their children and grandchildren or their next vacation in the motor home. He was a kind person and the best neighbour you could have.

Always loved talking with Lloyd as he had a way of making people feel very special and was genuinely interested in what you had to say. He had a great laugh and wonderful smile. He was very proud of his kids and loved Ann deeply. We will miss him very much.

I am very sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. What a remarkable man he was. My father enjoyed many a conversation over a drink or tinkering on something in either one's garage. From our neighbour beside us on Sullivan Drive and then around the corner on Overholt Street. He will truly be missed by so many. Hoping that your heart heals over time and the wonderful memories of Lloyd live on.
