Obituary of Kenneth Earnest Bernier

BERNIER, Kenneth Earnest – passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 4:45am, at the age of 86. Kenneth is predeceased by his loving wife, Agnes (Watson) Bernier, of 67 years. Kenneth is survived by his beloved children Brenda (Jack) Salley, Joanne Hutchcraft, Cindy (Larry) Stevens, Keith (June) Bernier, Beverly (Randy) Mulder. Poppa will be greatly missed by his Grandchildren; Vince (Heather), Edward, Chris (Dimple), Brad (Michelle), Tara (Kevin), Danielle (Aaron), Adam, Stephanie (Peter), Brooks (Porchya), Dillon, Mitchell, Robbie (Les), Michael (Melodie), Alan (Nula) Poppa will also be missed by his Great-Grandchildren; Tyriek, Devonte, Lucas, Ethan, Marie, Manveer, Anisha, Brianne (Jeff), Riley, Bubba, Jack, Cameron, Bailey, Charlie, Destiny, Faith, David, Colton, Jordan, Gwyneth, Makayla, Liam, Caleb, Bram, Jaxon, Dayan, Arielle. Pre-deceased by Mother Margaret (Yerkie) Campbell, Step Father Bill Campbell, Sister Shirley Roussin, Brother in law Paul Roussin, Son in law Terry Hutchcraft. Kenneth was a proud employee of Campbell’s Soup for over 43 years. He lived his life in support of all of his children, and every one of his grandchildren. Poppa could always be found watching Hockey, Lacrosse, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Martial Arts and Theatre; or at a school watching an extra-curricular function. His friends and family will always remember him as a kind, loving, supportive person, but most of all as Poppa. A private family service will be held at the George Darte Funeral Home, in St Catharines (905-937-4444) We would like to thank all our friends and family for the constant support, and prayers during this difficult time. If so desired the family is asking for any donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

 

Poppa, you will always hold a special place in each of our hearts, and will never be forgotten. Just as the inside of your ring says, you will ALWAYS be our lifeline.
