Sir Lee posted a condolence

To a man I do not know. But of a great name it came to me while I slept. I had the insatiable moment of displacement and had to look the name up online to see that there was a great man who followed by such a great name. It is with my most unpleasant disapproval that I'm not able to shake this man's hand. And with that I can only say,
Bless you sir for surviving your land King and Country and countrymen

When he would park his car in my driveway and I would come out at night and his skull seat covers would scare the crap out of me
When he would drive by the house and yell out for me to cut the grass and then cut his too
Showing off his latest family photos on the dashboard of his SUV
Knowing his daily schedule ... off to Brenda’s then Joanne’s ... and his arrival time home. Chatting on the front porch at the end of his day.
Always treating me and the boys like family we love and miss him so much .... one of the greatest person I ever had the pleasure of sharing time with for 40+ years

Ken Bernier;
My hero, my friend, my dad. A wonderful grandfather and an even better great-grandfather.
He never gave up on any family member, instead it was his way to push us so we would strive to be the best we could be.
He opened his home to anyone who entered and made sure you felt welcomed. He was friendly, kind and compassionate.
Ken Bernier will be dearly missed.
I love you dad.
