Obituary of Jean -Marie Groleau

GROLEAU, Jean - It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Groleau of St. Catharines, Ontario announces his passing. Jean died peacefully at home in his sleep on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 after a long battle with Dementia. He is predeceased by parents Lucien and Léontine; siblings Cécile, Paul, Marie Ange, Doria, René and Gaby; and his beloved wife of 60 years, Léda. He is survived by his siblings Victoire, Denise, Yvon, Camille, Marie Claire and Gilles; his sons Jean-Guy (Beverly) and Gilles; his grandchildren Jessica(Ryan), André (Charlene), Chantal (Simon), Ginette (Billy), Olivia (Chris) and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Maxime, Genevieve and Rachel. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23rd at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 24th at 12 p.m. at Paroisse Immaculée Conception, 99 Garnet St. St. Catharines, Ontario. Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill to follow.
