Obituary of Mark Gregory Halliday
Mark Gregory Halliday (December 10, 1974 – October 10, 2018)
It is with heavy hearts that we wish to announce the sudden and tragic passing of our Marky in his 44th year on October 10, 2018. Cherished son of Bill and Fern Halliday. Loving brother of Chris, and Mandy(Randy Barkwell). Special Unky to Pearl and William Barkwell, who were the lights of his life. Loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special thanks to cousin Lisa Gillis for always being there for him.
Mark was a simple man, with simple needs. He had a heart of gold. He didn’t always have much, but what he did have he shared with others in need. He was an amazing man who was loved by all. He lived life out loud and saw people at their core.
He brought awareness involving mental illness, and was an advocate for so many other good causes. We are all very proud of what he has done, and the work he did with rescue dogs, and so many other animals.
Mark loved his family. Family was everything to him. Mark took all the wonders of life and wrapped them in a colourful package and gave it to all that knew him.

Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral services for Mark will be on Thursday, October 18th at George Darte funeral home in St Catharines. Viewing from 10am-12pm. Service at 12 pm til 1pm with a reception at the funeral home afterwards.
