PRICE, Carolyn (nee Lucin)
Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the age of 71. Beloved wife and best friend of 49 years to Jim. Much loved sister of Janet (the late Bob) Malcomson, Doug (Karen) Lucin, Margaret (Les) Mitro and Kenneth (Candace). Carolyn will also be fondly missed by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Cherished friend to Mary and Terry White. Carole will also be remembered by her golfing companions, and the staff at the Niagara Health Foundation, where she volunteered for many years. Predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Catherine Lucin (2014).
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at NHS-St. Catharines, especially those in emergency, for their care and compassion. Also, special thanks to the staff at Juravinski Hospital.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, August 9 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, August 10 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service for Carole will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. Reception will follow at the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club, 70 Westchester Ave, St. Catharines. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Monday, August 13 at 11 a.m. (Please meet on Queenston St.) In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation or the Rankin Cancer Run.
