My mom has been friends with Carol since they were in elementary school. I heard many stories of Carol volunteering to babysit me when I was first born. When I had my own children I would look forward to seeing Carol at the Henley every year. She'd give me a big hug at the entrance of the grandstand and tell me the times of my daughters' races before I even had to check the program. She'd run down the stairs and sit beside me for every one. She was a huge fan of my girls and friend of a lifetime for my mom. My deepest sympathies to her family.

I had the pleasure and honor of knowing Carole for a short period while I was GM at St. Catharines. I quickly realized that Carole's involvement in the Club was far reaching; committees, golf events, curling, Scotties, Canadian Tour Championship,Little Rockers, there wasn't much that Carole wouldn't quickly join and say yes to her participation.
I always saw Carole with a smile, always caring for others, and quick to give her time and opinion. She was a kind, warm, supportive person, she genuinely listened, a skill not easily found.
One of my most enjoyable curling teams had Carole as my vice in the Monday night league with Drew and Brett. We had such a great time. For the most part, Carole didn't miss many shots with the stick, she was pretty accurate and I loved that after a huge weight shot she would come down with a big smile on her face and give me a high five. We won the Monday Night Championship in 2014, I looked forward to curling every Monday night with her.
I regret not making it down to say goodbye Carole, please know you made an impact in my life and you will be missed.

I was so surprised to hear of Carol's passing. I was looking last night in the Denis Morris yearbook and there was Carol standing at the end of the top row of the group photo smiling as she always did. I would see her when I volunteered at the hospital and of course Carol was always smiling. I will always remember her smile. She was a lovely person and a good friend in high school. I will miss her
