Sad to hear of the passing of Bill. Having served in many capacities with Bill over the years in Kin we grew to know each other well. Always remember Bill's rendition of "Sunday Morning Coming Down". He was a gifted person who contributed much to the people of Canada through his efforts in Kin. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I always smile when I think of Swinburne Road adventures (the good, the bad, and the damaging). The pool was always open and friends never felt anything less than welcome.
Cherish the fond memories (they will never fade) and celebrate together at this challenging time. Huge hugs from far away!

I had the pleasure to golf a number of rounds with Bill and I always looked forward to 18 holes with Bill. During one particular round, the cronies that Bill usually golfed with did not show up. It was in the fall, and the weather was not great. I asked Bill where Fern and Jim where and what was he doing playing with the weather being bad as it was?? Bill replied. “I don’t know why Fern and Jim didn’t show up. The weather’s not all that bad. I have to tell you Garnie, when I was younger, I had thousands of golf games to play and I did, but now that I’m much older I have only a couple of hundred games left and I want to get them all.” Hit them long and straight Bill.

No words can express the feeling of sadness and loss knowing that Bill will no longer be there to answer the phone with his bright cherry HELLO...and his latest take on any recent sports event or news story .knowing the Watson family as we did for so many years is one of Gods great gifts to
us.Our Christmas.s together will live
forever throughly the magic of home movies, .His spirit will always be present with Kinsmen and Kinetttes whenever they gather and sing the song “ To give with your heart” a song he co lol wrote for them The title of the .song fit him so well.because he did give with his heart, The National Kinsman Headquarters building on the 401 at Guelph is a testament to his dedicated service as he was a co chair of that magnificent building as well.
He wa a hardheaded Argo fan, always resisting my attempts to convert him to Tiger Cats.
Bill was one of a kind ...Go with God Bill..

To Bill's family, please accept my condolences on your loss, and allow me to share a thought or two.
Over the years Bill and I played numerous games of golf together at Twenty Valley Golf Club. Many of our golf games were followed by a meal, a beer, and of course "friendly" discussions about the politics of the day. I'll miss Bill and our sometimes spirited exchange of views. I don't know which was Bill's greatest passion; golf or "his" Republican Party. Those of us who had the privilege of knowing Bill will miss his wit and wisdom.
