Bruce and family - my sincere sympathy as you grieve the loss of your father and grandfather. It is especially difficult to say goodbye to a parent. May the best of him live on in you. Take good care of each other.

Dear Family,
Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with you as today you lay Uncle Bert to rest. We are truly sorry we are unable to attend his funeral Mass and be with family. We have so many memories and deep feeling of gratitude for all that Uncle Bert did for us and meant to our little family. From inviting us to rent his small house on Haynes Ave when we were first married, to many building projects at our varies homes with Dad (Alphonse), and Uncle Tony; visits with us at the cottage and attending our children's baptisms, communions and wedding. Uncle Bert you truly were a steadfast presence in our lives.
To Bruce, Mark and Wayne, your father always spoke of each of you, equally, with pride and support, and the great joy received from all his grandchildren. Uncle Bert was proud of and unconditionally loved all of us.
Well done, good and faithful servant, rest in peace dear Uncle.
Love Nancy and Craig

I was so pleased to be able to see a lot more of Uncle Bert the last few years. He was such a good brother to my dad( Tony) and gave him great comfort and companionship.
We had lots of good conversations both at dad's house and the times we drove together visiting A.Agnes or A. Margaret.
He will be missed.
I am happy to donate to Out of the Cold in his honour.
My love to all of you.

Dear Cousins,
So heart heavy with the sad passing of my dear Uncle Bert. I always saw him in my younger years visiting my Dad (John) with Uncle Walter. He was often with my moms brother Don King too. Always willing to lend a helping hand, kind word or hug, Uncle Bert made my moms last few months such a joy at Anchor Point.
Hugs to all,
Mary Ann
