I knew Bill when he lived in Dundas. Great memories of us drinking beers in his boat which happened to be on the driveway and listening to Skinnard. Bill taught me that it was okay to be a "Simple Man' Love ya Bill. Paul

I remember Bill as a generous and warm person. We went on holiday a couple times to visit our family in Canada.
Bill took us (Wes and me) a day long for driving ATV's, very good memories of that. He was a loving and good man to other people. We as family in Holland will miss him very much. Wish i had seen him last year when we were in Canada. We wish all the strength to you family!

Although we have only known Bill just about a year now, it feels he's been a part of our lives forever. Such a strong powered, positive, happy man. Never have we left the ranch without a smile because of his contagious laugh. We thank him for the wonderful support and guidance on our journey moving up to the North!
We send our love to the family as we are all thinking of you at this difficult time. Hugs to Wes our best buddy and Bills best friend of many years, John. May you rest peacefully Bill, you'll be remembered everyday at Sub Bros and Monday night family Bingo.

Unfortunately as sometimes life works we lost touch. We had some great times both personal and business. I was glad to hear you made it north to hunt and fish. Will be thinking of you Tony and Hermina as well as Maria, Tom, Jerry and Bill's children. I would have liked to attend the service but will be unable to as I am out of country. Rest in Peace buddy and say hey to Denny.

We met because you were my son's friend's dad, and became a very dear friend. Whether it was plowing the whole sidewalk between our houses, and then my driveway before stopping in for a hot coffee - just to be nice, or the three day long games of Monopoly or Risk, there were so many great times. The Labour Day weekend bashes, coaching T-Ball, the infamous Star Trek cake- lol. I'll always think of our Admiral Road days with a smile.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to Keri, Tim and Wes.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Bill and I became friends in high school. I will always remember him as being well grounded, having a great work ethic and making time for family and friends. You were always welcome and he was always willing to help.
Bill was a Groomsman at my wedding. He made a tremendous impression. Everyone liked Bill. He was so much fun. He talked to everyone and most importantly everyone remember him. He had a presence.
In recent years he would stop by my house in Mississauga on his way from Burks Falls to St. Catharines. He was so happy he’d moved north, had great stories and talked with great pride about Keri, Tim and Wes.
I’ll miss him; I’ll miss him a lot

What can I say about my True friend Bill!!!
He was one of a kind, the best kind of friend you could have and I have had the privilege of being his friend for over 15 years
He had a work ethic like no one else , he advised me over the years if you want something in life , you have to work hard for it ,,, and that he did !!!!
He was kind, generous and always there to help , he was always there for family and friends whenever needed
My best memory of Bill and I spending time together was when we looked for his retirement home up North !!! This was something he wanted to do and he did it !!!
He lived his life his way !!!
I will truly miss him , even though we lived miles apart , I always felt he was close because he was always there if I needed him .
God Bless you Bill
Joe (or Uncle Joe , as Bill used to call me !!!)l

Truly The Lord has gained an angel for sure. A wonderful man, amazing father, and well respected man in the St. Catharines/ Niagara community.
Always welcoming to the hoards of us kids that would often congregate at the VanBussel home, Bill always welcomed us with smiles, laughter, and jokes.
He raised 3 wonderful, independent and compassionate children who saw everyday his example of hard work and joy of doing what you love!
Our deepest condolences go to Oma & Opa, Keri, Tim, and Wes and the whole VanBussel Family.
All our Love,
The Allison Family.

Bill, you have touched so many lives and we are all blessed and honoured to have had the pleasure of knowing you. You are and will always be missed and loved. I remember fishing trips when I was a young boy with Tim and his dad (bill). Tim and I were friends back in grade school we spent a lot of time together. Watch bill build a lot of duck work and even watch him build that addition on the house behind Ferndale. I knew the family pretty well.. So sorry to hear about this, my condolences to Tim Wes and Keri and the rest of the family.
