Obituary of Jan Kathryn Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Jan It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a lovely Woman Jan Kathryn Shepherd (nee Hillier) on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 70. Loving Wife of Robert for 47 years. Cherished Mother of Melissa (Scott) Wayland and Tyler. Beloved Grandma to Alyssa-Lyn, Mackenzie, Shae-Lyn, Hannah, Tessa-Lyn and Carter. Sister-in-law to Elaine (the late Dave) Tucker and Christine (Murray) Honsinger. She was employed at Towers and Zellers as a Cashier. She loved her job because she got to meet new people everyday and loved to talk to them. The family would like to thank the Nursing Staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for all their care and support during this difficult time. In accordance with Jan's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
