Obituary of Michael "Mike" Walton

WALTON, Michael Gary "Mike" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the age of 40. Michael will be forever loved by his parents Gary and Mary Anne (nee Molyneaux). Dear brother of Andrea (the late Ken) Cashaback. Devoted uncle of Brandon and Kendra. He will be dearly missed by his aunts and uncles: Brian Walton, Tom and Trish Molyneaux, Maureen and Roy MacKinnon, Dennis and Edith Molyneaux, Marg and Rick Plato, Theresa and Denis Duquette, and also by many cousins and good friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Albert and Muriel Walton, Jack and Monica Molyneaux and by his uncle Michael Molyneaux. In previous years, Mike was very involved with people's health and wellbeing; he was the owner of Body Balance Health and Fitness. Mike cared greatly about helping everyone from pro-athletes to people with special needs. Mike was very passionate about dogs. Bailey will miss him, and Nova and Bella are happy to be with him now. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - St. Alfred's Church or to Community Care- St. Catharines.
