Obituary of Lynda Fairbairn

FAIRBAIRN, Lynda A great sadness surrounds the passing of Lynda Jean Fairbairn at the age of 65. Lynda taught for many years at Prince Phillip Public School where she loved to be with her students and the staff. Lynda was also choir director and organist at Christ Church McNab, Christ Church St. Georges-Homer, and Christ Church Niagara Falls. She also taught piano to adult students. Lynda is survived by her bestest friend, Sam Hedden, other friends and relatives in Saskatchewan. Her mother, Lillian, predeceased her in 1985. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, May 30 from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Lynda's life will take place at Christ Church McNab, 1294 McNab Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Tuesday, May 31 at 2 p.m., with visitation being held at the church one hour prior to the ceremony. Inurnment to follow at Christ Church McNab cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society
