I am so sad to hear of Lynda's passing. I retired from Christ Church Niagara Falls choir after 40 years and I enjoyed Lynda's musical talent so much. We kept in touch and I was always glad to catch up with her on the phone. She will be missed.

Miss Fairbairn was my first teacher, back in 1974. I still remember most of the songs she taught us! My sincere condolences to her family and friends; she was a wonderful, creative teacher and she will be deeply missed.

Lynda's you were loved as a daughter oh so much. Aunt Lily was so proud of you. You were loved as a teacher. Your trips to the farm were so exciting for you so you could take small things from the farm for your students to see and learn from. You were loved as a niece, Mom and you spent many an hour looking up at the northern lights and you would love being with Dad as you treked around the farm. As a cousin when we reconnected you weren't only family you became a good friend. As a friend you were loved and those you had you held close. Your family, your church and your Chloe have lost an angel but I like to think that there is one more star in the sky that makes it just a little brighter. You are with your Mom once again. Rest in peace Lynda.

Miss Fairbairn taught me in grade 3 and 5 at Prince Philip. She taught us to love music and love learning. She was always so kind to all of us. I remember her handwriting me a letter when I was off school with a broken collar bone. She saw us as more than just students we were little people with something to give to the world in her eyes and I will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to be taught by her. I wrote to her a number of years back to let her know this. I am thankful that I did. Rest in peace and sing with the Angels xo

Lynda and I met over a piano lesson a very long time ago. She was the best....the very best...We shared many laughs as I plunged on trying to make the keys say something as beautiful as Lynda did!..She was a patient and loving friend...Lynda always put on a smile and always saw the positive side of life...She suffered pain and said nothing...Oh I shall miss her so very very much...I will always think about you my dear friend and remember our weekly lessons in music and in life...Another stars shines in the sky....
