Obituary of Kevin Thomas King

KING, Kevin Thomas Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 7th at the age of 35. Predeceased by his father Tom King (2012), his "Papa" Terrence Rourke (2006) and his "Granny" Aline King (2013). Beloved son of Esther (Greg Phillips) King and loving and devoted brother of Taryn (Josh) Harris. Loving stepson of Karen (Rick) King, and much loved stepbrother of Ryan (Katie) and Brittany (Frank Eliopoulos) Alexander, and Michael and Andrew Phillips. He will be missed by his loving "Gramsey Diddle" Eileen Rourke and Victor and Glenda Phillips. Kevin was the devoted and best uncle of Mason and Owen Harris and Ava Alexander, and cherished nephew of David, James (Raysa), Priscilla (Richard), Naomi (Troy) and Maria (Wayne). He will be forever missed by his cousins Angela, Leanna, Miranda, Jessye, Shanti, Tyler, Connor, Brandon,Sarah, Heather and Kat, the entire Rourke-Frew clan, the Rienzo family, best friends Jeff Keller and Geoff Graham, and his many, many other friends, bandmates and co-workers. Kevin was a valued and loved employee of Henley House where he worked as a PSW for over 10 years. He touched many with his lifelong gift of music and his compassion for the elderly will never be forgotten. Kevin's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday, March 11th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 12th at 11:30am. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow the service. If desired, memorial donations towards patient care at Henley House would be appreciated by the family.
