David and family,
I saw that your Mum had passed away as I read the Ottawa Citizen this week and felt that I would like to send you a note.
You do not know me at all, but I am your third or fourth cousin. My grandmother was Martha Hayes Winters.
I had the privilege of meeting your mum when I was a young child, and later on as an adult. I met you when you were about 13 years old in Kamloops where my sister lived . You came over to her house with your mom and dad for as visit, as I was visiting from Ontario. We had a great visit. Although I did not really know your Mum well, my Mum, and my Grama often spoke of her. You have my sincere sympathy at what has to be a very sad and difficult time for you and your family.
