When our kids were little, the Roses and the Rosses had some wonderful memories sharing a cabin at Tally Ho in Huntsville as well as a cabin in Cape Cod. It was easy to be together . Bryan was just a little guy and our three daughters and Jill loved mothering him. The joy in Barry's heart was so evident as he watched the kids play...that great smile of his was so genuine .
When our families were older we had a fabulous trip to Scotland with Marilyn and Barry.
A framed photo taken by Barry in Oban , Scotland and sent to us by Marilyn and Barry is a constant reminder of our friendship.
We will miss our friend!
He was truly loved.
As we watch the sun setting over the mountains, we send a big west coast hug to you Marilyn and the all grown up Jill and Bryan.

Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear of your loss after a long and happy life with Barry. After many difficult months his suffering is over. I am sure you have been a compassionate caregiver. Grief is a process that requires great kindness to oneself. Except for distance I offer you a warm embrace.
With love Dolores

Dear Marilyn and your Family
Our hearts go out to you all. We met Barry only once but we knew, through our friendship with Lori, that he was a dearly beloved man - kind, patient, wise, talented, devoted to his family. There will be an abundance from which to draw as sadness gives way to loving remembrances.

It was a pleasure taking care of Barry. He was a kind, humble and a very gentle soul. He greeted everyone with a smile in the morning no matter what his state of health was. May his soul rest in peace. My prayers go out to his beloved wife Marilyn and his entire family.
Bola Akinwunmi.
