To the family of Fr. M. Fernback and the church family.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of Fr. Fernback. At a time like this, we are at a loss for adequate words of comfort that will ease your grief.

God has placed within each of us an eternal soul. From the moment of of our birth, that soul exists forever. Death is not the end of Father Fernback's life story, it is just the end of a chapter. On July 10th my birthday, our dear Lord called you home; remember me when you enter His kingdom.
i visited my friends Jenny and Trevor Anderson in St. Catharines for six weeks, in the month of May/June 2014, and during that time had the privilege of attending the Saturday evening mass said by Father Fernback. I was struck with the joy and enthusiasm with which this true man of God delivered his homilies and he showed how despite his discomfort and pain how the spirit of God just shone through him I also saw how much he was loved by his brother priests and by the parishioners of St. Catharines. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
