We last saw Gord at my dad's funeral a few years ago. He still had a strong handshake and his great smile. Gord was a great friend to my dad at work, coaching lacrosse or diving for golf balls. He was also a friend and coach to many of us younger guys.
We wish Gord's family all the best as they celebrate the life of this wonderful man.

Dear Gordon's daughter Cheryl has been a wonderful friend of mine for over 24 years and knowing her and the love she shows for others is most certainly a tribute to the kind of Daddy she had. Cheryl has always spoken so highly of her Dad and his amazing contributions in life as well as his deep love for his entire family. Dear Cheryl, Bill, Dana, Megan, Jesse and Elmo, please know that we are deeply touched by your loss. The wonderful memories of your Dad Cheryl will live on forever in your heart. I was one of the lucky recipient of a wonderful homemade glass light up globe on a stand that Gordon so time stakingly made with his loving hands and I will treasure this globe forever. I will light it every day in honor of your Daddy honey as it means so much to me and always has. Thank you for sharing your love for your Dad with me, you truly are an inspiration and please know how much I care. With love and prayers, Lois and Peter

I never had the pleasure of meeting Gordon personally, but I know he was truly an
amazing father, husband, friend and overall person. The reason I know this is because
I have been friends with his Daughter, Cheryl McBride (Cudney) for over 24 years.
Cheryl spoke of her father often with such love and kindness. Gordon was always
doing for everyone else, his life's work was loving and supporting his family.
Cheryl would always tell me of her visits with her Dad and he always had a smile
no matter what, a smile that would light up the room. A man that had so much love
and compassion and made the world a better place. He will be greatly missed!
