Obituary of Nicholas Kocsis

KOCSIS, Nicholas "Uncle Nick" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Uncle Nick, who passed away in his home on Monday, March 31, 2014, at the age of 75. He will be dearly missed by his brother Ed (Marion), his nephews Brian (Denise), Robert (Cathy) and Paul (Saundra). Proud great-uncle to Jacob, Alison, Alex and Kyle. Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Kocsis. Nick was very passionate about his hobbies which included genealogy, industrial archaeology (S.I.A.), wine, classical music and technology. His favourite moments in his life were spent with his family. A special thank you to all of our family and friends for their continued support. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 73 Picton St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. An inurnment to follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Heart Association- St. Catharines, would be appreciated by Nick's family.
