Obituary of Marilyn Langille

Langille, Marilyn (nee Johnston) Marilyn's journey came to a peaceful end, with family by her side, at Hospice Niagara on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the young age of 72. Beloved partner of Albert Aiello for 34 years. Loving and devoted mother to Lajla (Langille) LaPorta, Leslie "Dee" (Langille) Morris (Jeffery pre-deceased) and Shawn (Ann Richter) Langille. Proud Gramma of Robert and Nicholas LaPorta, Victoria and David Morris Jocelyn, Nathan, Logan and Rowan (pre-deceased) Langille. Great Gramma "G.G." to Amaya LaPorta. Survived by brothers Russell, Murray, and Larry Johnston, sister Bernice (Johnston) Taras. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by brothers William and Gordon, and sisters Leona and Evelyn. Marilyn was born in Fenwick, ON, and raised in Niagara Falls. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Orangeman Lodge, Girl Guides of Canada, and the Welland County Drum and Flute Corps. Marilyn was a successful owner of Rubster's Café and Deli and Kloz Corner. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff, volunteers at Niagara Hospice. Friends may visit the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A funeral service celebrating Marilyn's life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Grace Gospel Church, 5855 Valley Way, Niagara Falls. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's memory to Project Share or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
