Obituary of Jean Mae Fraser

Fraser, Jean Mae (nee Gunn) Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband and cherished family on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, Jean went with her Lord to her mansion in the sky. Survived by her loving husband David of 24 years, her cherished children David Jr. (Angela) Fraser, David Arcuri (Hillary Hoegg), Norm (Joanne) Fraser, Shelley Arcuri (Ed Holder), Lisa (Mike) Laperle, also by her adoring grandchildren Taylor, Jade, Brooke, Spencer, Kaylee, Gracyn, Derrick, Mya, Jacob, Ava and Owen. Loving twin sister of Joan (Albert) Martinelli. Dear sister of Joyce (and the late Brian) Dell, and Bill (Rita) Gunn. Predeceased by her parents William and June Gunn, and James and Inez Fraser. Graduating from the Mack School of Nursing in 1972, she worked for the NHS for 39 years. Retiring from the Port Colborne Site in 2010. Jean was an active member of Redeemer Bible Church, and founding member of Camp Bring A Friend, where she worked as camp nurse and camp mom for 23 years. Jean was an avid gardener and loyal fan of the Niagara Ice Dogs. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, Jean's wishes were that donations be made to the Redeemer Bible Church care of Camp Bring A Friend. Friends may visit at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Redeemer Bible Church, 3017 Montrose Road, Niagara Falls on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 3 pm. Cremation has taken place.
