Passed away peacefully on December 5, 2013 surrounded by his family.
Renne was a proud veteran of overseas service in WW11. Better known in his home town of Alexandria, ON. as "Boxer". Predeceased by his wife Kay, and daughter Mariane Newton.
Survived by his son Roger "Tudor" (and Janet), 3 grandchildren, Patrick L. (Missy), Wesley N. (Lesley), Patti P. (Colin), and 7 great grandchildren.
Starting at age 60, Renne enjoyed 31 years of retirement after his career at I.C.G. His favorite activities where Fishing at Buckhorn Lake, playing for the Polish Club in the Cribbage League (since 1952), and socializing at the local Bingo Halls.
In keeping with Renne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Renne's life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines.
