Had many great fishing experiences on Upper &Lower Buckhorn Lake with Rene when I was a kid. Rene had a 12 foot Starcraft aluminum boat. Rene at the stern, Kay at the bow & I in the center. Somehow or another Kay always out fished us, which of course led to a lot of good natured ribbing. Many bicycle repairs on Sunday afternoons on York St. while Kay and I played Trouble. Rene was truly one of the good guys in life. To Roger and family our deepest condolences.
