Obituary of William James Hickey

HICKEY, William "Bill" Passed away unexpectedly and with his loving family by his side, on Thursday, November 21st at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 63. Cherished husband and best friend of Lise Riel, brother in law of Denis (Annette) Riel, Richard (Ginette) Riel, and sister in law Rashida (Dave Polziani) Riel. Much loved uncle of Andre, Celine, Alena and Renee Riel. Bill will be sorely missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and C.U.P.E. brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his parents John "Jack" and Maxine Hickey, and brother in law Normand Riel. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Bill's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, November 30th from 6-9pm. An inurnment in Aylmer Cemetery will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 11am. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke and Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
