Sorry to hear about Bill passing away. I worked with him for thirty years at the welfare dept, I was his team clerk before Bill went to the fraud dept. I remember when he came to my retirement party five years ago and we talked about the old times, when he was a social worker and did home visits. Bill was also a good president for our local and took care of everyone. Lise I know that you will miss him a lot, the both of you were such a good match. Living not to far from Smithville, I wished that I had come out to visit. Did not know about Bill passing until Dec 3, when I was talking to Bonnie from work. Lise my heart goes out to you.

I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Lise, My heart goes out to you. I knew Bill for over 30 years. We played baseball together for more than 15 years. Bill was a very principled man. I laughed with him, I argued with him, I liked him. He took a lot of crap from people while he helped them, through his union work. Bill lived life on his terms.

Hi Louise,
Just a short note to say how shocked I was to read that Bill, or "Buffy" as he was known by all his friends in high school, passed away this week. We had met a couple of times through the years when I was working in Hamilton, the last was in the summer at Frank Vecero's "60th" birthday get together in Hagersville. He hadn't changed, fun loving as ever. I have a lot of fond memories that will always be cherished.
Regards
Doug Miller

Lise ...my deepest condolences on the loss of Bill ....I am glad I was lucky enough to of had you both as neighbors for 5 years in Beamsville. Bill was a wonderful wise man and a great cook and I remember his love of shopping. My kids Colton and Samantha looked up to him and Sammy loved long Saturday chats with both of you. Lise let each tear that falls be a gentle reminder...that you and Bill truly loved each other and made such a meaningful difference in each others lives. And that is a gift that no loss and sorrow or time or distance can ever take away.
Some men leave their mark on the world by the way they live and the difference they make in the lives they touch. Thank you Bill for being my friend. Forever in my heart.
