Obituary of Kathleen Freda Hartley Moran

MORAN, Kathleen Hartley (Freda) - Passed away on Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 at Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Edward S. Moran. Daughter of the late Lyle and Kathleen Hill. Survived by brothers Gordon (Ruby) Hill, Murray (Denise) Hill, sister Marian Gayder, sister in law Marion Hill. Predeceased by brothers Allan Hill, Frank Hill and his wife Jean and brother in law James Gayder. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be missed by the Hill, Dunn and Gayder families as well as many close friends. Freda was born in Brucefield, Ontario. A large part of Freda's life was her work with several volunteer organizations. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, November 2nd from 11:30a.m. - 12:30p.m. Memorial Service to follow at 12:30p.m. in the funeral home chapel. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
