Mom, You were our rock, the glue that held our family together. You were generous with your time and your love. You taught us so much. Because of you, we will always be close. Our children all have a strong sense of family. All of your grandchildren have wonderful memories of you and Grandpa and Aunt Mary at 245 York St. - delicious holiday dinners, trips to the cottage, watching baseball, soccer and basketball games and always being interested in what they were doing, and proud of their accomplishments. We have lost a wonderful mother, but we will always have our beautiful memories. We love you. Rest in peace.

I am so sad that you are gone, but feel very lucky to have over 40 years of great memories to help me miss you less. You were a wonderful grandma and a great example to your family. I learned a lot from you – although I never could get the knitting right - and I promise to think of you with every cabbage roll, piece of creamed chicken and bowl of bean soup in my future. 245 York Street will always be a special place – a home filled with great meals, spirited card games, tons of family and lots and lots of love. Brian and I will never forget having you in our lives – you always made him feel a part of our family, and I love that he calls you Grandma too. It will never be the same now that you are gone, but I am glad that you, Grandpa and Auntie Mary are back together again. Thank you for waiting for me to come say goodbye. Love from the very first person to make you a Grandma, Leanne

You were such a wonderful grandmother. I loved coming to Canada to visit you, Grandpa and Aunt Mary. I have so many fond memories. You showered us with so much love, and, as hard as it is to say goodbye, I know we are all blessed to have had you in our lives for so long. You taught us a lot.....I still make green bean soup frequently and think of all of you. Barry, Jacob, Riley and I all love you. Thank you for being so wonderful to all of us....we will miss you. We are very sad but we know you are now with Grandpa and Aunt Mary.
Love, Allie

Our Mother
We had a storybook childhood, Mom.
It was the stuff of dreams.
We are parents now and so we know
Hard work is mixed together with the fun;
You learned that when you raised us long ago.
I think of all the things you gave to us:
Sacrifice, devotion, love and faith,
Your heart, your mind, your energy and soul--
All these were ours throughout the years.
You loved us with a never-failing love
You gave us strength and sweet security,
You did all this with selfless good humour
You understood how important the influence of a mother.
When we got married, you embraced your new family
Accepted as your own, three new sons and a daughter.
You were ever thoughtful, ever patient
Always loving, kind, supportive.
You became a grandmother and rejoiced in your new role.
Baking, cooking, guiding, loving.
“We are going to grandma’s”, we would say.
And the excitement on the faces of your grandchildren
Told the story; they wanted to be with grandma, always.
Your legacy lives on, mom.
Your children have a strong sense of family
We will always be there for each other.
You will never die; your spirit will live in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace now mom; your work is now complete.

We have lost a special Aunt who treated us kindly our whole lives. I have fond memories of happy times, picnics, dinners and cookies together. At many impromptu visits we were always made to feel welcome. We will miss hearing your stories, especially of the old days. My Mom was very close to Auntie Anne and I imagine the Poth sisters now together again. Our condolences to Uncle Steve, Lorraine, Sheila, Vicky, David & families.
Love Kevin, Rosanna and family

So many memories…... Everyone that knew “Grandma” was greeted with warmth compassion and cookies! She was a role model mother and grandmother to her own family as well as others like us that were related only by love. She celebrated the birth of our children and became a second grandmother to them ….always genuinely interested in their lives. I recall that the “Molnar Grandparents” were actually the first visitors to our house when we brought Meghan home from the hospital. She was an inspiration to all of us…..her family and religion were the centre of her world. She will be remembered and missed……and welcomed by those that went before her. The cooking and baking and cribbage games up above are probably already in progress.
With Love from the O’Mara's

Mom, you were a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother. We are all so sad, but we all have many wonderful memories of you, Dad and Aunt Mary and 245 York St. It was always fun to go there. One of my favorite memories is when Allison and I told you that you were going to be a great grandmother-finally-and how excited you were that there would be two babies. And then at the age of 87 you came to NJ to see them for their christening-along with the rest of the family. Riley and Jake will be too young to remember, but I will be telling them all about you. We love you.

Dear Mom, It is very hard when you lose such an important person in your life . You were a wonderful Mother, Mother In Law and Grandmother. You will certainly be missed. You were always there for us.One day I will always remember is the day Art had his stroke. You rushed to Port Perry with David and Lonnie and just sat in the ER holding his hand. We can't be selfish you were with us for a long time and now it's time to let you go to join Dad and Aunt Mary and all your family for a well deserved rest. We love you very much and you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Mom until we meet again. Love Sheila and Art.

I have so many wonderful memories of visiting you, Grandpa and Aunt Mary...from the homemade cookies we loved to eat as kids as soon as we walked in the back door, to long talks on the front porch in recent years. We were lucky to have you for as long as we did. I will miss you, Grandma. Rest in peace,
Love always,
Jen
