Words are not enough to express how I feel right now. The only solace that I have is that I was fortunate enough to have spent some time, short as it was, with him last week. I only wish that the circumstances had been better.
I will always have a place in my heart for him. Right next to your mother and my parents. I have a picture of your parents and my parents when your mother and father got married. That's how I will always remember them. Together, like they used to be.
I only have one regret. That I can't be with your family during this difficult time. It would have been a comfort to me to celebrate his life with you. If there is anything that either me or my family can do to help you through this difficult time, please don't hesitate to ask.
