Obituary of William Van Straten

Van Straten William Bill passed on peacefully, Tuesday January 24, 2006 at home, in his 84th year surrounded by his loving family, . Bill was a devoted and loving husband of Willy. Caring father of Fred, Cornelus, Annette, Frank, Wilma, Reg, Cathy, Joanne, Ronald, Patricia, Angela and their spouses. Bill will be fondly remembered by his 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. Bill retired from General Motors after 33 years. At Bill's request there will be a private family service. Memorial remembrances to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
