I am very sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. She was an awesome lady.
I met Carolyn at FACS where I also work. My first impression was what a wonderful, kind caring lady. Always smiling, she was a person to go to when the world was getting you down or you were feeling frustrated with the way things work. She was always willing to take the time to listen to what you had to say with concern. Whenever I spoke with Carolyn, I always felt listened to and she always made me feel like my contributions were valued.
Carlyn especially touched the lives of my wife and I when she made a special picnic for the two of us to celebrate our anniversary a few years ago.
I will keep all of you in my prayers during the coming weeks and ask God to help you in this difficult time.
Keep Safe and God Bless.

My deepest sympathies go to all of Carolyn's loved ones at this time of your terrible loss. When I returned to social work after a time off to have my family, I was blessed to be given Carolyn as my supervisor. Although she was shorter and younger than I, her wisdom, her humour, her laughter, and her larger-than-life personality made her someone I looked up to and highly respected. I considered her my mentor, and the depth of what she taught me about social work can never be adequately described. I pray for God's comfort and love for you as you mourn the passing of a truly wonderful woman.

How can someone come into your life for such a short time and have such a profound effect on it? Carolyn, we will miss your beautiful smile, your kindness and your contagious laughter. My deepest sympathies are with your family at this most difficult time. I'll miss you Alex

Dearest Ron, Dave and Ally - nothing could have made me happier in the years Carolyn was part of our lives than how incredibly happy she made you my brother, independent from each other, yet functioning as a solid team. Soul mates from day one until eternity. I love you all so much - in our prayers always and forever.

Dearest Ron, Dave, Alison, and family,
It is with such great sadness that we mark the passing of Carolyn. From day one, we were so taken by Carolyn's joyful spirit, her energy, warmth and great love for you, Ron, and all your family. We learned from you, as a couple, how not to sweat the small stuff and to just get out there and have more fun (as Carolyn would say, life is just too short). Ron, with your love, you gave so much to this wonderful woman who will continue to live on in each of us.
Peace,
Patty, Emmett,Conall and Maeve

Dear Ron, Dave and Allison,
It is hard to accept that we cannot be with you now. Carolyn and you were with us before the neurosurgery, when we were so optimistic. The situation here has changed, but you were able to keep Carolyn always as number one.
Peg and her daughters recall lunches with you at Nana's in Verdun. Your kid sister later joined the trio and Jan has many memories of games with you.
We are so fortunate that Carolyn loved us, and the two of you left us great memories. Her laughter was so contagious, and her help with meals in recent years meant so much to Fred and me.
Dave and Allison, we know how much the loss of Carolyn is affecting you but together you are supporting your dad and he is appreciative. Take care, son. We love you, Dave, Allison and Jan so much.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family for your terrific loss. Carolyn was such a special person who was loved by so many. Iwas lucky enough to work with her from time to time at FACS. I am coordinator of one of our Early Learning and Parenting Programs here in St. Catharines. There were several times when I had to deal with difficult families and Carolyn was always there to help in any way as well as allay your fears and offer such positive support and encouragement. She was such a vibrant person who brought such a positive energy to FACS and was always happy, cheerful and full of life and laughter. To say she will be missed is a drop in a bucket for the huge hole she leaves within our agency! She was loved by so many and those who were fortunate enough to know her had their lives enriched by her in many ways. Knowing how much I will miss her at the office only makes me realize all the more how truly devastating her loss is to her loved ones. I will keep her in my prayer's she will never be gone for she lives on in the lives she has touched!
