Dale and Lynn Lacourciere posted a condolence

I am Lynn, Gibby's daughter. My husband, Dale and I are very grateful we had the opportunity to visit Aunt Connie in July 2007 with my mother, Lucille Dion. They were very close, travelling together, and visiting back and forth between St. Catherine's and Sudbury regularly. Aunt Connie was a child of nature, as was obvious with her backyard gardens. She would also travel North in the fall to experience the beautiful colours. She had a terrific sense of humour, and was a very good listener. Her children, family and friends were extremely supportive, and were available for her every need from the moment she needed them. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, Aunt, and a dear friend to many. We will all need to count on good memories for healing.

C'est certain qu'elle nous manquera mais elle sera toujours là dans nos coeurs, Lift up your heart and share with her, God wanted her now, he set her free.

Our sympathy goes out to you both and your families. Your mother sounds like she was a very special lady, who accomplished much during her life. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Connie's trips to Sudbury were always seen by our group of childhood friends as a time to get together to laugh and talk over 'old' times with Connie. My condolences to the family for the loss of a special mother and grandmother.

The loss of a mother is always difficult but this time more so because Connie was such a 'special' mother and person. My sympathy goes out to you the family. The Sudbury Groupe D'amies grieves with you and we all wish we could personally be with Connie's wonderful and supportive family at this time. We will not forget her.

Words cannot express my sadness over Connie's death. I know you are very proud of her lifetime accomplishments, as I am. What a great role model she was for all of us. Connie and I were neighbours on Murray Street in Sudbury and I have never forgotten our childhood friendship. I will always cherish those memories and the ones forged during these past years.
