I would like to express my sincere condolences to Kathy&John, and JohnJr.&Margaret and families.
My family and I have spent many treasured times with both Uncle John and Aunt Alice and their family--much laughter, caring, love and wisdom. They were both very generous people who gave the most special gift of all--themselves.
They were a true blessing to our family when we most needed it.
I, along with my children,Angie, Steven, and Cristina, will cherish their memory and are grateful to have shared time with them.
Uncle John will be missed, as is Aunt Alice.

I am so grateful for the many special memories I have of times spent with Uncle John and Aunt Alice, two witty, warm, generous, loving people. Their visits to family in Manitoba were always cause for lots of excitement as there was never a dull moment with either of them around. Uncle John loved to tell stories and through him, I got to know a bit more about his older brother, my Grandpa. And, as Aunt Alice wisely instructed, I try to remember to 'waggle my toe rather than my tongue.' They shared so much with so many of us - laughter, love and life lessons.
My sympathy to John and Marg, Kathy and John as this is a sad time for you. Uncle John will be very much missed, as is Aunt Alice. I hope there is some consolation knowing that this great team is reunited.
With love,
Angie

My fondest memories of Florida are spending time with Alice and John. What fun we had! I loved to hear her laugh, and see the sparkle in John's eyes when he looked at her. They were both wonderful people. My deepest regrets on your loss.

We were saddened to hear of your fathers passing. To Kathy and John, I was flooded with memories of us as kids in the old neighbourhood on Alexandra and the sleepovers and great fun we had. I will always remember both your parents as kind and loving people. May you find comfort in the fact that your father was a wonderful role model, and admired and respected by all who crossed his path. Our thoughts are with you. Ron and Mic(McCartney)

Dear John A.& Margaret,Kathy and John,
I was sincerely saddened to hear the news of your Father's passing from Thumper. The memories of Niagara Frontier Catering trucks in the student parking lot is deeply etched in my mind from the good old SWC days...A well as one parked at the curb on Riverview. It helped make the dream of a beloved white MGB come true for Les. The sandwiches weren't bad either. I remember your Dad fondly. He was always so generous. Both your parents were so good to Les...They were wonderfully quick to laugh and took a genuine interest in what was going on in our lives at the time. You have chosen a ohoto which clearly shows your Father's warmth and interest in people. If my driver's license had been restored, you would have seen me in the Garden City. Please realize you are in my thougts and prayers during these challenging days. May you find comfort in your memories. God bless. With much love, Karen

I'm sorry for your loss. I remember the last time I saw your father and mother how well they both were. Polly Armentrout and I went to visit Don and Edna Smith and we met your parents at their home. We had a wonderful afternoon. Your father was a good man.
Fondly, Eileen

Dear Kathy and John, John and Marg,
We were saddened to hear about John's death. He was a sweeet, wonderful man. We had many good times with John and Alice and crew in Florida, Chicago and Canada. I am so glad we got to see John and Alice when we visited Canada a few years ago. My kids got a kick out of John! I remember him joking around with them, and cracking them up. He was always so nice. We will miss him.
