Obituary of Cathy Lim

Lim, Mary Cathy (nee Gallant) - Peacefully at her home in Etobicoke on February 22, 2007 at the age of 48. Beloved wife of Kevin Lim. Loving daughter of Irene and Clarence (Frank) Gallant. Dearly loved sister of Karen Howell (Richard) of England. Very special aunt to Brady Howell. Much loved niece of Marie and Louie Lund and Benoit Gallant (Yvonne) of Toronto. Cherished cousin of Rick Lund of Parry Sound, Leigh and Darren Lund of Toronto and Debbie Lemon and her son Gregory of Toronto. Cathy will always be lovingly rememebered by many other aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada. With her gentle spirit, Cathy enriched the lives of her many friends. Her gift of friendship will be with them forever. Cathy gently and powerfully enriched the lives of many young children during her career as an ECE teacher. Cathy is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street until 9am on Tuesday. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at St.Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 3pm on Monday. Interment will follow the church service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to either the Diabetes Association of Ontario or Heart and Stroke Foundation in Cathy's honour.
