Obituary of Ian (Don) Donald Cherrie

Cherrie Ian Donald (Don) - Surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday December 31, 2006 at the Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, at 69 years of age. Beloved husband of George-Anne, for 46 years. Loving father of Ian (Shawn), David (Iris), Jay (Majda). Cherished gramps of Scott, Adam, Colin, Christopher, Jessica, Aaron, Dylan and special poppa to Madison. Don is predeceased by his sons Jamie and Scottie and his parents James and Jean Cherrie. A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday, January 4th at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances to the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff of Joseph Brant Hospital, Mr. Keith Tucker, Sue Clarckson. and Dr. William Proctor.
