Obituary of George Koski

KOSKI (Kucharski), George - Passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Thursday, November 23rd, 2006, at the age of 84. Loving husband, dearest and best friend of the late Williamina Crystal (Ina) (nee Robertson) for 51 years plus. Predeceased by his parents Rose and Michael Kucharski, one brother Tom Koski, loving sister Anne Charney (nee Kucharski), brothers-in-law William Charney (Czornopyski) and John Robertson, and sisters-in-law Hilda Koski and Bessie Robertson. Dear brother-in-law of Nan and Bruce Rowan of Dundee, Scotland, and dear brother-in-law of Sally Robertson of Dundee, Scotland. Uncle George will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. George was a proud Veteran of World War II and the D-Day invasion, as well as a retired CAW member after working many years for General Motors. George's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, November 26th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, November 27th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Remembrances to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Also a special thanks to Andrew and Joanne Birmingham and family for their comfort, kindness and help during this time of sorrow. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following paths God laid for me, I took His hand, I heard Him call... Be not burdened... deep with sorrow, I wish you sunshine of tomorrow.
